Keyfix shortlisted for Irish Construction Excellence Award

We’re proud to announce that Keyfix has been shortlisted for an Irish Construction Excellence award in the ‘Construction Product Innovation’ category – thanks to our Non-combustible Cavity Tray (NCCT) System. This innovative ‘Fix & Forget’ system is a practical solution to provide DPC protection over lintels, masonry supports, soffit systems and other elements in the cavity such as fire barriers.

Paul Turney, Technical Manager at Durkan, first heard of Keyfix providing a non-combustible cavity tray/cavity tray lintels when Keyfix carried out a presentation for their Quality Director and engaged with Keyfix through their subcontractor Landmark Brickwork. From this point on, and many meetings later Durkan specified Keyfix NCCT on all 3 blocks of their Southmere project:
